Replacing a hot water system is usually a same-day job, and most of the variation in price comes from what changes rather than from the unit itself. Like-for-like in the same position is the simple version.

Change the fuel type, the capacity or the location and the job now involves new pipework, possibly a new gas run or some electrical work, plus the temperature control requirements that come with any replacement. We’d far rather set all that out before we start than surprise you at the end. Splash and Gas have no call out fee during working hours, so we can come and measure up and talk it over at your home.

Newer Secret Harbour homes were typically handed over with a continuous flow gas unit, and the first wave of those is now old enough to fail. Good news is the pipework is modern, so a replacement is usually a clean swap in the same position.
